Rachel Moore

 

Rachel Moore (English, Class of 2017) wrote a "A Love that Bears No Fruit:Aubades and Unnatural Love in Troilus and Criseyde" under the supervision of "Dr. Megan Murton for the course Chaucer in His Age Part II.

 

Rachel Moore is currently a Senior English major with minors in Philosophy and Theology & Religious Studies at The Catholic University of America. She is particularly interested in exploring the theme of chivalry across literary time periods from medieval British literature to contemporary American Southern literature. As a Writing Center Undergraduate Tutor, she enjoys peer tutoring in writing and researching unconventional approaches to the writing process. Under the guidance of Dr. Taryn Okuma and Dr. Kevin Rulo, she presented her research entitled "Narrowing the Focus for Greater Inclusivity?: Rewards and Challenges of Targeting Specific Student Populations" at the 2016 National Conference on Peer Tutoring in Writing at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. In the near future, she hopes to continue her studies in English language and literature and teach.
